Too many bugs to get me to buy another month
I bought one months subscription and after the Australian GP weekend I am glad I did not pay for the whole year. I eventually gave up using it and just watched on the TV.
The main problem I had (and clearly this is far from the only one, based on other reviews) was the pause/resume function. I was watching a recording of the race and trying to keep the app approximately synced with the TV. Frequently the resume would not work after pausing; it just remained stopped at the current time reading. Sometimes exiting the app and restarting it would fix this. But even when it worked, the resume would often cause the timeline to jump back or forward by a minute or so, frustrating my attempt to get the app in sync with the TV.
Also on Friday there was ~30 minutes at the beginning of FP2 where the app could not connect to its data feed. And once it did connect (I was watching live at that point) the app consistently ran slow by several seconds per minute so it drifted away from the TV feed.
I wont be buying another months subcription unless this gets some serious fixes. I had the 2012 version of this app and it had regressed badly since then.
Update: during the season most of the bugs got fixed but the information provided was greatly REDUCED. It used to have sector times for example, now they have been taken away. Even if you pay the monthly price to get the full amount of data I think you are getting less than previously. Like much else in F1 there seems to be no attempt to improve value to the fans.
